This autumn, the UNEVN team hit the road across the UK, visiting events, universities, and industry leaders to showcase how esports can connect people, places, and performance like never before.
The journey began in Edinburgh, where we joined the first PHASE event at the iconic Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium as both an exhibitor and sponsor. It was an inspiring start to the trip, surrounded by friends old and new, from Stuart Kosters and Lizzie Squires to Joe Appleford, Shoubna Naika-Taylor, and Bubba Gaeddert.

We were particularly inspired by talks from Gavin Ferry (Newcastle United Foundation) and Euan Jardine (Scottish Borders Council), who shared how esports is driving community engagement and education across the UK. A big thanks to James Hood and the entire erena esports team for organising such a powerful event. And yes, our CEO proved to be surprisingly talented at VR Tennis (thanks to VTEC for the setup).
With the show wrapped, the UNEVN UK Road Trip officially began!
Next Stop: Sunderland & Durham
After leaving Scotland, we made our way south to Sunderland and Durham University, where we met with Kylie Alyson Kendrick from the university’s Esports & Gaming team and George Spour from Digital Safety CIC.

It was fantastic to see how universities are integrating esports into education and wellbeing initiatives, and to share how UNEVN can help bring high-quality setups into academic environments. At Durham University, we had the chance to set up the UNEVN BASE on site and demonstrate how portability and performance can enable flexible learning and competition spaces — from classrooms and training rooms to student lounges and events.
Along the way, we shared updates and stories from the road, and it was great to see how engaged the community has been in following our journey across the UK.
Manchester: Esports Meets Football
From there, we travelled to Manchester, stopping by the Joie Stadium to meet the City Football Group team and showcase the UNEVN BASE.

The crossover between traditional sports and esports continues to grow, and it was inspiring to explore how flexible gaming setups like BASE can support both fan engagement and player training.
We also dropped by Chillblast HQ in Warrington to connect with Joe Appleford and his team, sharing ideas about performance hardware and upcoming projects.
Final Destination: Esports Leaders London
The week wrapped up in style at Esports Leaders London, hosted at Nobu Hotel Portman Square. As the event’s Play Partner, UNEVN showcased the BASE on-site, giving attendees the chance to experience its portability and performance first-hand.
The event brought together some of the brightest minds in the industry, from teams and brands to education and hospitality leaders, all focused on shaping the next chapter of esports.

Huge thanks to The Esports Radar for hosting, and to everyone who stopped by for a chat or a demo. From grassroots advocates to global teams, it’s clear that the future of esports will be built collaboratively, and we’re proud to be part of that story.
Until next time…
From Scotland’s stadiums to London’s luxury venues, the UNEVN UK Road Trip was more than just a journey. It was a snapshot of how esports is growing, connecting, and inspiring people across the UK.
